You may have some questions before, during and/or after your stay, so let us help you answering all of them! Okay, almost all of them.

Before your arrival

WHAT ARE THE AGE RESTRICTIONS?

The minimum age requirement to check-in at our Residences is 21.

IS THERE A 24H RECEPTION?

There is no reception at our Residences. We like to keep things personal. We meet all of our guests face to face during a personal check-in and offer 24/7 phone support.

WHAT TIME CAN I CHECK-IN? IS AN EARLY CHECK-IN POSSIBLE?

Check-in is at 02:00 pm. We do not have a reception at our Residences, however, we consider it very important to welcome you there at your preferred time. Please call (+31 20 30 80 295) us 30 minutes before your arrival, so we can head over to the apartment and check you in. You can request an early check-in or late check-in the day before your arrival. Please note that early check-ins are based on availability.

WHAT TIME DO I NEED TO CHECK-OUT? IS A LATE CHECK-OUT POSSIBLE?

Check-out is at 11:00 am. You can leave the keys on the table and close the door behind you, as we will normally not be there during your check-out. Feel like sleeping in? You can request a late check-out of 13:00h for an additional € 30,-. Please note that a late check-out should be requested the day before your departure and is based on availability.

WHAT IS THE AMOUNT OF THE CITY TAX?

The city tax at Residences is 10% of the turnover, excluding VAT.

CAN I STORE MY LUGGAGE AT THE PROPERTY?

We do not have luggage storage at the apartment. Storing your luggage after your stay can be done at various locations throughout the city.

IS THERE A SECURITY DEPOSIT? HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET IT BACK?

Yes, there is a security deposit of € 350,- per stay. The amount will be authorized on your credit card upon arrival & will be released after check-out. Depending on your bank it can take up to 7 days to get the deposit back in your account.

WHAT CREDIT CARDS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept Visa, Mastercard & American Express.

WHAT’S YOUR PET POLICY?

We love pets, but unfortunately, we can’t host them for stayovers. Guide dogs are always welcome.

IS THERE FREE WI-FI AT YOUR PROPERTY?

We all know Wi-Fi is important to get things done or to scroll through our Instagram, so we assure you a free and fast connection anywhere in your den.

DO YOU ALLOW SMOKING AT THE APPARTMENTS?

Please note that it is not allowed to smoke in or around the apartments, including the private terraces, patios, balconies and nearby playgrounds.

DO YOUR APARTMENTS HAVE A BATH?

In some of our Residences, you can take a bath. Go to www.residences-amsterdam.com/apartments to discover which apartments have a bathtub.

DO YOUR APARTMENTS HAVE A BALCONY?

WHEN IS MY APARTMENT BEING CLEANED?

Stay-over cleans are done once every 8 days. Please tell us your preferred cleaning day in advance, so we can arrange this for you. Additional cleaning is possible at € 30,- per clean.

HOW CAN I RESERVE A BABY COT AND/OR BABY CHAIR?

Let us know in advance if you need one & we will make it happen. Please note that a baby cot and baby chair are based on availability. The price for a baby cot is € 15,- per night and a baby chair is free. Please note that the baby cot and baby chair are based on availability.

DO THE APARTMENTS HAVE A DRYER/WASHER COMBINATION?

Some of them do. Check out www.residences-amsterdam.com/apartments to see which Residences have a dryer/washer combination.

IS THE KITCHEN IN THE APARTMENT FULLY EQUIPPED?

Yes, so you will have everything you need to create your favourite dish or try out some new ones!

ARE THERE EXTRA BED OPTIONS? ARE VISITORS ALLOWED?

Unfortunately, adding an extra bed to an Apartment isn’t possible. Please be aware that it is not allowed to receive any guests in the apartment or building that are not registered during check-in.

Services

DO YOU RENT OUT BIKES?

Yes, of course, we do! Let us know in advance how many and when you need the bikes, so we can arrange this for you.

DO YOU HAVE A SHUTTLE SERVICE?

Unfortunately, we do not. If you need a taxi, we would like to recommend our preferred and sustainable partner HUN, who can be reached 24/7 at +31 (0)88 800 78 87.

DO YOU SELL PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TICKETS?

If you want to use public transport in Amsterdam and beyond, the public transport chip card (OV-chipkaart) is used for travelling by tram, bus, metro and train. The most convenient option for visitors travelling within Amsterdam is a disposable 1-hour card or day card (valid from one to seven days). 1-hour tickets can be bought from the conductor or driver on the tram or bus. Day tickets can only be bought on the tram. Tickets are valid across the whole Amsterdam network from the first check-in, allowing you to take as many journeys as you wish within your chosen time frame.

IS THERE A BREAKFAST BUFFET?

In our Residences we do not serve breakfast. Luckily, there are many breakfast spots in our neighbourhood

IS THERE A RESTAURANT & BAR AT YOUR PROPERTY?

Because there are so many amazing restaurants & bars in our neighbourhoods, our Residences do not have any. So… go outside and discover!

DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS FOR EXPLORING THE CITY?

Where to start… because we have some many! Just ask one of our colleagues and they will tell you all about their favourites.
